Bike Depot Program

The NJBWC created the Bike Depot program in October 2014 with the launch of the Montclair Bike Depot at the Bay Street NJ Transit Station. The Bloomfield Bike Depot was then launched in March 2017 at the Bloomfield NJ Transit Station. The Elizabeth Bike Depot opened in May 2018, at the Midtown Garage adjacent to the Elizabeth NJ Transit Station. We are now fundraising to build a Bike Depot in the City of Summit.

The Bike Depots provide safe, secure, weather and theft-proof storage for your bicycle while you are at work or shopping and visiting nearby. Those of you who live in nearby towns that do not have train stations can now use your “nice bike”, which may be a safer bike to ride than a “station bike,” to reach a NJ Transit train station. Skip the line to get into the parking garage and pedal right into a safe, secure, lockable and video-surveillance-protected place for your bike.

Sign up for monthly and annual memberships. Prices for memberships vary based on the location. You may also purchase a Universal membership that will allow you access to all of the Bike Depots in the NJBWC program.
