The NJBWC created the Bike Depot program in October 2014 with the launch of the Montclair Bike Depot at the Bay Street NJ TRANSIT train station. The Bike Depots provide safe, secure, weather and theft protected storage for your bicycle while you are using the train, in town shopping, visiting or simply live nearby and prefer the easy access to your bike.
- Sign up for monthly, annual or universal memberships. Prices for memberships vary based on the location. Various memberships are available on a first-come, first-served basis. NJBWC reserves the right to increase rental rates on an annual basis.
- Once you join, a key fob will be mailed to you.
- You may choose any one of the available racks to place your bike. Please lock your bike to the rack. Please do not leave your lock on a rack after you remove your bike; other members may be using the rack when you leave with your bike.
The Bike Depot is monitored via video recording. However, NJBWC is not responsible for loss or theft of your bike. Videos may be reviewed.
Purchase a universal membership that will allow you access to all of the Bike Depots in the NJBWC program.
